We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
