And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 192 The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed. 199 Thus it passes through the hearts of the criminals. 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not. 202 Then they will say: Shall we be respited? 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 and then the chastisement of which they were being warned were to come upon them, 206 of what avail to them will be all their past enjoyments? 207 We never destroyed a village that did not have warners 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 And [this divine writ is such a reminder:] no evil spirits have brought it down: 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 So call not thou unto another god along with Allah, lest thou be of the doomed. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. 215 If they do not obey you, tell them: "I am not responsible for what you do." 216 Have trust in the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every great accuser, extreme sinner. (The magicians) 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 And they say what they do not do, 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
