۞ It is God who has subjected the sea to you so that you may sail thereon by His command, and so that you may seek His bounty, and so that you may be grateful. 12 And has subjected for you all whatever is in the heavens and in the earth, by His command; indeed in this are signs for people who ponder. 13 Tell the believers to ignore those who do not believe in the coming of the days of God. He will requite people for what they have done. 14 Whosoever does a good deed, it is for his ownself, and whosoever does evil, it is against (his ownself). Then to your Lord you will be made to return. 15 We gave the Book to the Israelites, the commandments, and prophethood, granted them pure sustenance, and gave them preference above all people. 16 We gave them clear signs of the Command; so they differed not, except after the knowledge had come to them, being insolent one to another. Surely thy Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection touching their differences. 17 And then We set you, (O Prophet), on a clear high road in religious matters. So follow that and do not follow the desires of those who do not know. 18 Surely they will not avail thee aught against God. Surely the evildoers are friends one of the other; God is the friend of the godfearing. 19 This (Quran) is an enlightenment for the people and a guide and mercy for the people who have strong faith. 20 Do the people who commit evil think that We shall make their life and death like that of the righteously striving believers? How terrible is their Judgment! 21
