Prostration
< random >
Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him. (Command of Prostration # 12) ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
