THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
