The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
