۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
