The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 and the scarers scaring 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21
