[Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment,] 31 but rejected the Truth and turned away! 32 Then he went to his followers, walking away in haughtiness. 33 Woe to you! 34 then nearer to thee and nearer! 35 Deemest man that he is to be left uncontrolled? 36 Was he not a drop of sperm emitted (in lowly form)? 37 Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did (Allah) make and fashion (him) in due proportion. 38 fashioning out of him the two sexes, the male and the female? 39 Is not He able to give life to the dead? 40
True are the words of God the Almighty.
