We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 When both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: this is that which thou hast been shunning. 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 (It will be said): 'Of this you have been heedless. Therefore, we have now removed your covering. Today your sight is sharp' 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 "Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
