Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
