Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
