Hizb 44
< random >
Say, (Muhammad), "Ask help from those whom you worship besides God. They do not possess an atom's weight in the heavens and the earth, have no share therein, nor will any of their idols be able to support them." 22 And before Him, intercession can be of no avail [to any] save one in whose case He may have granted leave [there for]: so much so that when the terror [of the Last Hour] is lifted from their hearts, they [who have been resurrected] will ask [one another,] "What has your Sustainer decreed [for you]?" - [to which] the others will answer, "Whatever is true and deserved - for He alone is exalted, great!" 23 ۞ Say: 'Who provides for you from the heavens and earth' Say: 'Allah' Surely, either we or you are rightly guided or in clear error. 24 Say: "Neither shall you be called to account for whatever we may have become guilty of, nor shall we be called to account for whatever you are doing." 25 Say: "Our Lord will gather us together and judge between us equitably, for He is the Judge all-knowing." 26 Say: "Show me those whom ye have joined with Him as partners: by no means (can ye). Nay, He is Allah, the Exalted in Power, the Wise." 27 And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. But most of the people do not know. 28 They ask: 'When, if what you say is true, will this promise come' 29 Say: You have the appointment of a day from which you cannot hold back any while, nor can you bring it on. 30

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
