"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other. 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
