The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 (and there) shall wait on them immortal youths 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 and spreading shade 30 near to flowing water 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And raised couches. 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 for those on the Right, 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
