Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 Thamud, 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
