Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
