The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
