The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
