The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 So fear God and follow me. 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 and weigh with the straight scale, 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 And keep your duty unto Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old. 184 They said: thou art but of the bewitched; 185 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 He said: "My Lord knows best what ye do." 188 In response they denied him – therefore the punishment of the day of the tent* seized them; that was indeed a punishment of a Great Day. (The clouds formed a tent and rained fire upon them). 189 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 190 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 191
