۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
