In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Those who disbelieve and bar from God's way, God will send their works astray. 1 But those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and believe in that which is sent down to Muhammad (SAW), for it is the truth from their Lord, He will expiate from them their sins, and will make good their state. 2 That is because the ones who deny the truth follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord. Thus God sets forth comparisons for mankind. 3 So when you confront the disbelievers, strike at their necks; until when you have slain them in plenty, tie them up firmly; then after that, you may either release them as a favour or take ransom, until the war lays down its ordeal; this is it; and had Allah willed He Himself could have taken revenge from them, but this is to test some of you with others; and Allah will surely never waste the deeds of those who were killed in His way. 4 He will guide them [in the hereafter as well,] and will set their hearts at rest, 5 and will admit them to Paradise with which He has acquainted them. 6 O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm. 7 As for the unbelievers, they will suffer misfortunes, and their deeds will be rendered ineffective. 8 That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds. 9 ۞ Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah. 10 That is because Allah is the Protector of the believers whereas the unbelievers have none to protect them. 11
