The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The Most Beneficent (Allah)! 1 Has taught the Qur’an to His beloved Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him). 2 Created man, 3 and He taught him speech. 4 The sun and the moon move according to a fixed reckoning; 5 And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) prostrate in adoration. 6 He raised the heaven on high and set the scale. 7 That you not transgress within the balance. 8 weigh, therefore, [your deeds] with equity, and cut not the measure short! 9 He positioned the earth for all the creatures: 10 There exists all kinds of fruits, palm-trees with sheathed blossoms, 11 Husked grain and scented herb. 12 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 13 He created the human from clay, like earthenware 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 16 Lord of the two easts and of the two wests is He. 17 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 18 He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. 19 Whereas there is a barrier between them so they cannot encroach upon one another. 20 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 21 Out of them come pearls and coral. 22 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 23 And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains. 24 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
