Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 Noble and recording; 11 who know all that you do: 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
