And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 And We gave to him his family, and the like of them with them, as a mercy from us, and a reminder unto men possessed of minds; 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 gardens of perpetual bliss, with gates wide-open to them, 50 in which they will recline, and call for abundant fruit and drink therein. 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted - an evil cradling! 56 This is for the criminals – so that they may taste it – boiling hot water and pus. 57 And other (torment) of the kind in pairs (the two extremes)! 58 (Observing their followers advancing to Hell they will say, among themselves: “This is a troop rushing in to you. There is no welcome for them. They are destined to roast in the Fire.” 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They say, 'Our Lord, whoso forwarded this for us, give him a double chastisement in the Fire!' 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 All this is certainly true -- the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this way. 64
