The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
