Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By (the winds) that scatter dust. 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 Undoubtedly, the promise you are given is surely true. 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 I swear by the heaven full of ways. 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 Who are lost in deception. 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire! 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because,] verily, they were doers of good in the past: 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness; 18 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). 19 And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure, 20 and in your selves; what, do you not see? 21 In heaven is your sustenance, and also that which you are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth it is sure, even as it is a fact that ye are speaking. 23
