Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
