The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
