The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 by a burning fire 5 They sat by it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
