The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
