And We have certainly diversified [the contents] in this Qur'an that mankind may be reminded, but it does not increase the disbelievers except in aversion. 41 Say: 'If there had been other gods with Him, as they say, they would surely have sought a way to the Lord of the Throne' 42 Hallowed be He, and exalted be He above that which they say - a great height! 43 The seven heavens and the earth, and whosoever in them is, extol Him; nothing is, that does not proclaim His praise, but you do not understand their extolling. Surely He is All-clement, All-forgiving. 44 When you recite the Qur'an, We place a hidden veil between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter; 45 for, over their hearts We have laid veils which prevent them from grasping its purport, and into their ears, deafness. And so, whenever thou dost mention, while reciting the Qur'an, thy Sustainer as the one and only Divine Being, they turn their backs [upon thee] in aversion. 46 We are fully aware of what they wish to hear when they listen to you; and what they say when they converse in private; and when the wrongdoers say, "You are only following a man who is bewitched!" 47 Behold! how they propound similitudes for thee! They have strayed and cannot find a way. 48 And they say: when we shall have become bones and fragments, shall we in sooth be raised as a new creation? 49 (Muhammad), say "Yes, even if you become rocks, iron, 50 ۞ "Or some created thing that is yet greater (or harder) in your breasts (thoughts to be resurrected, even then you shall be resurrected)" Then, they will say: "Who shall bring us back (to life)?" Say: "He Who created you first!" Then, they will shake their heads at you and say: "When will that be?" Say: "Perhaps it is near!" 51 “The day when He will call you and you will come praising Him, thinking you have stayed only a little.” 52
