We gave Moses nine clear signs; so ask the children of Israel. When (Moses) came to them the Pharaoh said: "I think, O Moses, you have been deluded." 101 Answered [Moses]: "Thou knowest well that none but the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth has bestowed these [miraculous signs] from on high, as a means of insight [for thee]; and verily, O Pharaoh, [since thou hast chosen to reject them;] I think that thou art utterly lost!" 102 He therefore wished to expel them from the earth, so We drowned him and his companions, all together. 103 Thereafter, We said to the Israelites, "Dwell in the land. When the promise of the Hereafter comes to be fulfilled, We shall assemble you all together." 104 And We sent down the Qur’an with the truth, and it has come down only for the truth; and We did not send you except as a Herald of glad tidings and warnings. 105 And this is a Recitation which We have made distinct that thou mayest recite it unto mankind with delay, and We have revealed it at intervals. 106 Say: "Believe in it or do not believe." Behold, those who are already endowed with [innate] knowledge fall down upon their faces in prostration as soon as this [divine writ] is conveyed unto them, 107 And they say: "Glory be to our Lord! Truly, the Promise of our Lord must be fulfilled." 108 They fall down upon their faces weeping, and [the Quran] increases their humility." ۩ 109 Say, "Whether you call on God or on the Merciful One: His are the finest names." Pray neither in too loud a voice nor in silence, but between these two extremes. Seek a middle way 110 And say, "Praise to Allah, who has not taken a son and has had no partner in [His] dominion and has no [need of a] protector out of weakness; and glorify Him with [great] glorification." 111
