O Prophet! Command your wives and your daughters and the women of the Muslims to cover their faces with a part of their cloaks; this is closer to their being recognised and not being harassed; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. (It is incumbent upon women to cover themselves properly.) 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease, We verily shall urge thee on against them, then they will be your neighbours in it but a little while. 60 cursed they shalt be, and wheresoever they are come upon they shall be seized and slaughtered all -- 61 God's wont with those who passed away before; and thou shall find no changing the wont of God. 62 Men ask thee of the Hour. Say: The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What can convey (the knowledge) unto thee? It may be that the Hour is nigh. 63 Verily, God has rejected the deniers of the truth, and has readied for them a blazing fire, 64 therein to dwell for ever; they shall find neither protector nor helper. 65 On the Day when their faces will be turned over in the Fire, they will say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger (Muhammad SAW)." 66 And they will say, “Our Lord! We followed our chiefs and our elders – so they misled us from the path!” 67 Our Lord! give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse!" 68
