Hizb 46

And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Do you have any clear authority for such claims? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 Exalted is Allah above what they describe, 159 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 160 So you and your deities 161 can lure away from God any 162 except him who shall roast in the Blazing Fire. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 and, verily, we too are ranged [before Him in worship]; 165 and, verily, we too extol His limitless glory!" 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 we would certainly be true servants of God." 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 And see them thou; they themselves shall presently see. 175 Then for Our punishment are they impatient? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace be upon the Envoys; 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
