The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
