۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 they have enraged us, 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
