Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent forth Noah to his nation. He said: 'Worship Allah, my people for you have no god except He. I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.' 59 The chiefs of his people said: Most surely we see you in clear error. 60 He said: O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds. 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a man from amongst yourselves, in order that he may warn you and that ye may fear, and that haply ye may be shewn mercy? 63 But they cried him lies; so We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark, and We drowned those who cried lies to Our signs; assuredly they were a blind people. 64

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
