The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
