This present life is naught but a diversion and a sport; surely the Last Abode is Life, did they but know. 64 And so, when they embark on a ship [and find themselves in danger,] they call unto God, [at that moment] sincere in their faith in Him alone; but as soon as He has brought them safe ashore, they [begin to] ascribe to imaginary powers a share in His divinity: 65 In order to be ungrateful for Our favours; and to use the comforts; therefore they will soon come to know. 66 Have the (pagans) not seen that We have made the holy precinct a safe place while all the people around are suffering terror. Do they believe in falsehood and disbelieve in God's bounties? 67 Who does greater wrong than he who invents a lie about God or rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is Hell not the home for those who deny the truth. 68 We will surely guide in Our ways those who strive hard for Our cause, God is surely with the righteous. 69
