(And remember) the Day when We shall call together all human beings with their (respective) Imam [their Prophets, or their records of good and bad deeds, or their Holy Books like the Quran, the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), etc.]. So whosoever is given his record in his right hand, such will read their records, and they will not be dealt with unjustly in the least. 71 And whosoever hath been in this life blind will in the Hereafter be blind, and far astray from the way. 72 They indeed sought to entice you away from what We revealed to you, hoping that you might invent something else in Our name; and then they would have accepted you as a close friend. 73 And had it not been that We had already established you, you would certainly have been near to incline to them a little; 74 And if it were*, We would then have made you taste a double life and a double death – you would then not find any supporter against Us. (* Which is impossible.) 75 They had nearly expelled you from the land and driven you away from it. But then, they too would have stayed but a little after you. 76 Such was Our way with those whom We sent before you. You shall find no change in Our way. 77
