۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
