Say: "O you ignorant people, do you bid me to worship someone other than God? 64 But it has already been revealed to thee,- as it was to those before thee,- "If thou wert to join (gods with Allah), truly fruitless will be thy work (in life), and thou wilt surely be in the ranks of those who lose (all spiritual good)". 65 Nay, but God do thou serve; and be thou among the thankful. 66 They did not recognise the true worth of Allah. (Such is Allah's power that) on the Day of Resurrection the whole earth will be in His grasp, and the heavens shall be folded up in His Right Hand. Glory be to Him! Exalted be He from all that they associate with Him. 67 When the trumpet blast is sounded whoever is in the heavens and the earth will swoon away, except those God please. When the blast is sounded the second time, they will stand up all expectant. 68 The earth will become bright from the light of your Lord. The Book of Records will be presented and the Prophets and witnesses will be summoned. All will be judged with justice and no wrong will be done to anyone. 69 And to every soul will be paid in full (the fruit) of its Deeds; and (Allah) knoweth best all that they do. 70
