Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 and distributing the command of God at His behest! 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 By the beautiful heavens, 7 surely you speak at variance, 8 though only those who are averse to the Truth will turn away from (believing in it). 9 Perish will those who just guess and speculate, 10 who are steeped in ignorance and heedlessness. 11 They ask: "When is the Day of Judgement?" -- 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 "Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water-springs. 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness, 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] 20 As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see? 21 And in the heaven lies your sustenance, and the promise you are given. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
