The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
