▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
