The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. 5 Guide us on the Straight Path. 6 the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, nor of those who are astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
