And call to mind what time Allah will say: O 'Isa, son of Maryam! was it thou who said to the people: take me and my mother as two gods beside Allah! 'Isa will say: hallowed be Thou! It was not for me to say that to which I had no right; had I said it, Thou would have surely known it; Thou knowest that which is in my mind and I know not that which is in Thy mind. Verily Thou! Thou art the Great Knower of the things hidden. 116 "Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me to say, to wit, 'worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord'; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when Thou didst take me up Thou wast the Watcher over them, and Thou art a witness to all things. 117 "If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily You, only You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise." 118 Proclaimed Allah, “This is a day on which the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness; for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow, in which they will abide for ever and ever; Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Allah; this is the greatest success.” 119 To Allah only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them: and He is Able to do all things. 120
