Proclaim, “Travel in the land, and see what sort of fate befell those who denied.” 11 Say thou: whose is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth? Say thou: Allah's. He hath prescribed mercy for Himself. Surely He shall gather you together on the Day of Judgement whereof there is no doubt. Those who have lost themselves shall not believe. 12 ۞ To Him belongs all that rests during the night and the day. He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 13 Say, “Shall I choose as a supporter someone other than Allah, Who is the Originator of the heavens and the earth and Who feeds and does not need to eat?” Say, “I have been ordered to be the first to submit myself (to Him), and O people, do not be of the polytheists.” 14 Say: "Behold, I would dread, were I [thus] to rebel against my Sustainer, the suffering [which would befall me] on that awesome Day [of Judgment]." 15 Whosoever has been spared chastisement on that Day, Allah has bestowed His mercy upon him. That is the manifest triumph. 16 If God sends you harm, there is no one but He who can take it away; and if He bring you good, surely He has power over everything. 17 It is He who prevails over His creatures, and He is all-wise and aware. 18 Ask them: 'Whose testimony is the greatest?' Say: 'Allah is the witness between me and you; and this Qur'an was revealed to me that I should warn you thereby and also whomsoever it may reach.' Do you indeed testify that there are other gods with Allah? Say: 'I shall never testify such a thing.' Say: 'He is the One God and I am altogether averse to all that you associate with Him in His divinity.' 19 Those to whom We have given the Book know this as they know their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe. 20
