Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble recorders, 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
